Now, you have a chance to become ASSIST member and get your personal Assist®ID. What is Assist®ID? In fact, it is a unique identificator issued to a credit card holder after registration and verificaton procedures. In principle, Assist®ID is a way to curb fraud and stolen card numbers.

Why Assist®ID

1. When purchasing goods or services on internet or from your mobile phone in one of ASSIST member shops using your credit card you can use Assist®ID instead of using credit card number;

2. You don't have to be afraid of stolen Assist®ID (which is not the case for your credit card number). Even if it happens, the thief would not benefit from using Assist®ID without knowing pin number that goes together with Assist®ID;

3. Your credit card transactions on internet or from mobile phone can be limited to transactions using Assist®ID at your personal request. All other transactions will be rejected by ASSIST;

All transactions using Assist®ID will go through ASSIST where a set of measures is used to cut down the risk of fraud;

Once having passed the sign up and verification procedures, you are issued your Assist®ID. You will receive your personal ASSIST plastic card with Assist®ID embossed on it, by mail.

How to get Assist®ID

Sign up for Assist®ID
When signing up you have to answer some questions necessary for us to create a customer profile. You might need this in the future to participate in loyalty programms in ASSIST member shops. You will also have to fill in your credit card data to get through verification procedure. Your credit card will be charged 100RUR (roughly 3$) of sign up fee consisting of two arbitrary generated parts. You will see this payment in the bank statement - two lines of two non-equal figures to the benefit of ASSIST Ltd.. This money is charged for verification procedure, printing and mailing ASSIST plastic card. After you have successfully completed registration procedure, you are issued your Assist®ID. In the same time you will receive by e-mail the message containing Assist®ID. It will consist of 16 digits generated using special math algorithm.
You will be able to use your Assist®ID for credit card payments only after you complete the next step;

Step 3
Please contact your credit card issuer bank either via internet or by calling or visiting and find out the smaller part of 100RUR payment (please also note two digits after the point) made to the benefit of ASSIST Ltd. Then follow the link received in the message containing Assist®ID or enter www.assist.ru by the link for buyers and choose “Assist®ID activate” link .
In case you enter the correct figure you will receive the pin-code and your Assist®ID will be activated. You will see your pin-code online only once. Subsequently we will never repeat your pin-code or mail it with your card. Therefore please remember your pin-code.

Please pay your attention that the amount you fill in should be in RUR!According to the rules of VISA Int. and Europay Int. your bank has to provide you with this information.

If the statement is only available for currencies other than RUR, please send at assistid@assist.ru the following information:

• your sign up e-mail;
• transaction RRN (Retreival reference number - 12 characters);
• 4 last digits of your credit card number;
• the exact amount (roughly 3 USD) in dollars charged to your card.

After receiving this information we will send you the smaller figure to your e-mail address;
Before paying for this service please find out if you can get RRN number from your issuing bank. Activation of Assist®ID will not be possible without this information;
You can have only one activated Assist®ID per one credit card;
If your credit card expires Assist®ID will not be able to handle transactions.
In this case you will have to reregister a new credit card with ASSIST.

It is now when you can use your personal Assist®ID for online credit card purchases over internet in ASSIST member shops!

Editing customer profile information
Assist®ID's owner can edit registration information he/she entered while registration procedure. Questionnaire information can not be edited.

Looking up transactions
Assist®ID's owner can keep track of his/her transactions made through ASSIST in one of member shops in personal account section (requires to log in).

Where to use Assist®ID
Assist®ID can be used in all ASSIST member shops.
Using Assist®ID for mobile commerce transactions will be limited by shops signed up with ASSIST for this service.

In the future, you will be able to use your Assist®ID to get discounts and bonuses in ASSIST member shops a well as better service based on knowing your purchasing needs through data stored in your customer profile.

One more thing about security
Assist®ID is entered and transferred directly to the ASSIST server by SSL protocol.
That secures the safety of Assist®ID and prevents it to be stolen in either internet shop or while it is transferred through internet. Assist®ID is stored in ASSIST database in an encrypted form.

Assist®ID is issued only after you have read and confirmed the Public Offer Contract stipulated below.

PUBLIC OFFERASSIST Ltd. located at 3, Litejny, St.Petersburg 191 028, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, will offer to all interested parties rendering the service of registration of his/her personal credit card accompanied by handing over the personal plastic card with Assist®ID embossed on it, under the following conditions:DefinitionsCard Holder - the one who really owns the credit card and whose name is embossed on the card;Buyer - anyone who purchases anything over internet in one of ASSIST member shops;Registration information - data either buyer or card holder fills in registration form to request ASSIST services or Assist®ID;Assist®ID a unique personal id accompanied by pin-code both generated by ASSIST and serving the purpose of more secure payments. It refers only to credit card number it was generated for. Credit card authorization using Assist®ID can be executed only with the pin-code.Pin-code is the substitute of the signature of cardholder on cashier or settlement document and shall be considered by the Buyer (cardholder) and Seller as having equal legal force same as the signature. It is necessary to execute credit card transactions using Assist®ID. It is used to ascertain the identity of the card holder. To be filled in together with Assist®ID on ASSIST site while making payment. Price of the Contract100 RUR (roughly 3 American dollars) Scope of Service- Processing buyer registration information and card holder credit card data;- Processing payment charged from cardholder's credit card composed of two arbitrary parts, giving in total 100 RUR;- Generation and issuing Assist®ID personal identification through internet;- Processing two parts of payment total charged to cardholder's credit card and filled in on ASSIST site;- Generation and issuing pin-code to cardholder through internet; - Printing out the Assist®ID plastic card and mailing to cardholder's address. Payment termsThe total of Contract Price will be charged to card holder's credit card to the benefit of ASSIST Ltd.In case of negative result of registration or failure to fulfill all required steps, the Contract Price earlier charged to the cardholder wouldl be returned to the credit card without any additional notice. Getting ASSIST Plastic CardThe ASSIST plastic card will be mailed to you in case of observing all registration requirements and successful completion.The time needed to print the card will depend on number of Assist®ID requests in line (should be not less than 50 to place the order with printing company).The plastic card will not be mailed in case of the wrong mailing address or recipient data. ClaimsIn case of successful completion of registration procedure and receiving both parts of Assist®ID through internet as well as mailing the card by ASSIST Ltd., no claims to return the Contract Price will be accepted. Contract Price return conditionsContract Price can only be returned in case of negative result of registration procedure due to stolen card, generated credit card number, fraud suspect. When it happens, the charged sum will be returned to the true cardholder's credit card. Assist®ID plastic card will not be mailed. WarningRegistration data of cardholders failed to complete registration procedure will be put in the ASSIST black list and will be rejected in case of repeated registration attempt.We would appreciate your understanding the above clause since its meaning is to protect interests of true card holders and eliminate as much as possible fraud risks. Security issuesAssist®ID when used for payments is transferred via SSL protocol to ASSIST server. Therefore, it cannot be stolen in internet store or while transferred through internet. Assist®ID is stored in ASSIST database in encrypted form. In addition to Assist®ID itself, the cardholder receives the pin-code. The purpose of the pin-code is to make credit card transaction more secure. To compare, credit card transaction over internet without Assist®ID usually does not require any pin-code but credit card number. Assist®ID can be kept on your PDA or even on paper (it is also embossed on your personal ASSIST plastic card). Don't disclose it to anybody same as credit card number. The pin-code accompanying Assist®ID shall not be passed to anybody under no conditions. In case of fraudulent transaction with your card due to lost or passed over Assist®ID and the pin-code the responsibility will be shifted on you. Responsibilities of the Parties Seller responsibilities- The Seller shall be responsible for generation and security measures of storage of Assist®ID and the pin-code as well as their transfer via internet when filled in on ASSIST site;- The Seller shall not be responsible for illegal and unauthorized by the cardholder use of Assist®ID and pin-code for credit card payments bound to the given Assist®ID and pin-code or made by any other banking card;- The Seller shall provide all information at hand on payments executed with the use of Assist®ID and pin-code to its owner;- Seller shall not act as defendant in the court concerning illegal payments done by Buyer's credit card if the essence of these payments is beyond the framework of generation, issuing and storage of Assist®ID and pin-code on ASSIST side. Buyer responsibility- The Buyer shall be responsible for due storage received from the Seller Assist®ID and pin-code and distribution of this knowledge to any other persons;- The Buyer shall independently solve with a shop or any other organization as well as with issuer bank all disputes arising in respect of payments executed with the help of his/her credit card. Term of the ContractEffective through December, 2010
