E-wallets allow transactions of small amounts such as a few cents or a few dollars, typically made in order to download or access graphics, games or information. The advantages are:

- No credit card transactions are required;
- No concerns of chargebacks;
- Lends itself well to micropayments.

An internet shop does not want a micropayment to be done whith credit card because of expenses per one transaction. Neither acquiring banks will like it since they are more interested in a bigger ammount of each transaction rather than in many transactions of a small amount.

Partner project with Web-Invest bank in St.Petersburg (Russia) and leading Russian e-wallets (WebMoney, Yandex.Dengi, e-port, and KreditPilot) allowed to solve the problem of micropayments for all internet shops operating through ASSIST. Now, all these shops have a chance

- to increase a number of accepted payment options;
- not to pay attention to any technical modifications made by any of involved e-cash companies since ASSIST takes care of them;
- solve any financial issues through ASSIST without addressing e-wallet one by one;
- to cut down on time needed to draw up contracts and discussing details with each of the e-wallets;
- to continue working through already familiar and convinient ASSIST user interface.

To start accepting e-cash an internet shop shall conclude a contract with a new bank of ASSIST system - Web-Invest bank in St.Petersburg.

The routine procedure of e-shopping in internet shops remains the same. A shopper puts goods in the shoping cart, confirms the order and selects one of e-wallets as a payment option instead of credit card or other options. Then the data of the selected e-wallet are filled by the shopper either on the internet shop or ASSIST site. Then the payment shall be confirmed by the shopper. Payment processing usually takes from several seconds to several minutes depending on the type of wallet selected and how good is the connection to its site.
The shopper while he/she is on ASSIST site use comfortable and familiar user interface.
