Privacy Policy

Overview
ASSIST is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of consumers, its products and services. Throughout Internet, we want to contribute to providing a safe and secure environment for our customers.

In order to operate the ASSIST service and to reduce the risk of fraud, ASSIST must ask you to provide us information about yourself and your credit card. The purpose of this ASSIST privacy policy is to inform about what kinds of information ASSIST may gather about its customers when they visit ASSIST, how that information may be used, whether ASSIST discloses it to third parties. This privacy policy applies to the Assist®ID web site and other Internet-accessible ASSIST-branded services like Loyalty that incorporate this policy (although mainly ASSIST will be referred here). Other ASSIST products and services may also have their own privacy policies, which may be reviewed while using these services. Finally, this policy applies only to ASSIST, and not to other companies' or organizations' web sites to which ASSIST has links.

Information Collected

Required Information
To open an Assist®ID account, you must provide your name, addresses, phone number, and e-mail address.

In order to make card payments using Assist®ID, you must provide your credit card information, including credit card type, credit card number, card holder, expire date.
Transaction Information
When you use Assist®ID for payments we ask you to provide information related to each transaction, including your Assist®ID, your PIN, the amount of the transaction. We retain this information for each of your transactions through ASSIST. We also collect the Internet address (IP address) of the computer or device you use to access your ASSIST account, in order to help detect possible instances of unauthorized transactions.
Web Site Traffic Information
For a set of technical reasons ASSIST collects information about the IP you used to access ASSIST, the type of browser you use and the times you access our web site. We use this information to try to understand our customers' preferences better and to manage the load on our servers, so as to improve our service and your experience with ASSIST. We do not track the web sites that you visit before or after you leave the ASSIST site.
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.

When you visit ASSIST web site, you can browse the site and access important information without revealing your identity. In order to provide customer dependant functionality, ASSIST uses cookies to track your visit. It functions as your identification card, and enables ASSIST to record your passwords, preferences, etc. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.
Questionnaires and Profile Data
As part of ASSIST services we offer optional questionnaire to our customers to collect their personal information to make possible treating them in personal way. If we collect personally identifiable information from our users in this questionnaire, the users will be given notice of how the information will be used prior to their participation in the questionnaire.

Protection of Information
ASSIST is committed to handling customer information with high standards of information security. Your credit card information is stored only in encrypted form on computers that are not connected to the Internet. We restrict access to your personally identifiable information to employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Security of your Assist®ID relies on your unique Assist®ID accompanied by PIN. You should not share your Assist®ID with anyone. If you do share your Assist®ID and PIN with a third party for any reason, including because the third party has promised to provide you additional services such as account aggregation, the third party will have access to your account and your personal information, and you may be responsible for actions taken using your credentials. If you believe someone else has obtained access to your Assist®ID credentials, please contact ASSIST immediately.

The security of your Assist®ID account information also relies on your protection of your unique Assist®ID accompanied by your email. This pair of identities gives access to your personal information stored on ASSIST servers, but it will never give an access to operations connected with transactions of any kind.

Disclosure of Information
We do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to ASSIST or information that you may give us on ASSIST, such as your name, address, email address or credit card number, to any outside companies. ASSIST may share such information in response to legal process, such as a court order or subpoena, or in special cases such as a physical threat to you or others. And, as we mention above, we may share with our web site partners aggregated statistical "ratings" information about the use of ASSIST.

Children on ASSIST
Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service.

ASSIST Privacy Policy Changes
If ASSIST decides to change its privacy policy, it will post those changes online so that customers will always know what information is gathered, how might be used and whether will disclosed to anyone.
