ASSIST is a multi-banking e-payment system
for plastic and virtual cards. It allows to process and
authorize transactions over internet in real time.
ASSIST has been keeping its leading position in the Russian
market, processing more than 80 per cent of all Russian
internet credit card transactions.
In addition to VISA, MasterCard, ASSIST gives you the option
to accept all five Russian leading e-wallets – WebMoney,
Yandex.Dengi, e-port, Kredit Pilot within the same
user interface.
ASSIST has been rendering its services for over five years
to internet stores and its customers. It is over 400 stores
connected to ASSIST right now and its number is growing
all the time. Internet stores like it because they get a
chance to accept credit cards and e-wallets without installing
costly hardware and software. Customers like the safe and
reliable way of payment recognized by users all over the
world.
Payments executed by ASSIST through member banks of the
system fully comply with Russian Federation legislation
and governed by according clauses of the Civil Code of the
Russian Federation. Credit card payment data transfer is
executed according to MOTO (Mail Order Telephone Order)
standard strictly complying International Payment Systems
(VISA, Europay) rules.
A little bit of a history
Reksoft put
ASSIST E-payment System into operation in
April 1998 within the framework of OZON
project. Full commercial launch of the system was made in
April 1999. In the year of 2000, ASSIST connected to STB
Card bank and Alfa Bank in Moscow.
Strategic development of ASSIST was heading to increasing
number of member banks and providing new services to internet
stores. ASSIST together with Alfa Bank in Moscow was the
first in Russia who implemented SET™ standard for credit
card payments over the internet.
In April 2002, when ASSIST spun off from Reksoft and became
a separate company. Customer service was increased and fraud-screening
group was set up. New special methods of fraud screening
was produced and tested which now has been offered to internet
stores.
ASSIST has been connecting e-wallets for the past year.
Now, all major Russian e-wallets such as WebMoney, Yandex.Dengi,
CreditPilot and e-port are available as payment options
through ASSIST. This has also helped to solve the problem
of micropayments (under 3 euro) for those internet shops
who accept tiny payments for various e-stuff and services.
The major goal of ASSIST
